The exit plan: decide before you buy.
Every leak above starts with an exit decided in the moment. Write two numbers down before every entry.
The idea
Before a trade you're neutral. After it, you want to be right. So every exit decided after the entry is decided by someone who wants to be right.
The two numbers
Before every entry, write down where you're wrong (the stop) and where you'll take half (the target). That's it.
If the trade hits the stop, it's done. If it hits the target, sell half and trail the rest.
Why it works
It turns two emotional decisions into one calm one, made before the money is at risk. It also makes your trades measurable: you can see whether you followed your own plan.
The rule: Two numbers before every entry: the stop and the target.
Practise it: Respect the stop
No trade closes worse than −30% for two weeks.
About behaviour and process, not about what to buy. Nothing here is financial advice.
